I’ve been on the Connor brown train since he was available in Toronto. Solid player and I think the jets should try to nab him in the off-season, especially if Copp wants too much money.

Good game from Morrissey though, he was truly dominant. Pionk had a good game too, first time in a while for both. Lowry, dubios, scheifele, perreault, and wheeler were good too. Connor also took a step towards returning to form. Stastny was quiet. Quietly good game for Vesalainen, Appleton, Copp, and poolman. Stanley was very good expect for that last play which resulted in a goal. He’ll probably be taken out of the lineup because of it though 🤷‍♂️.

Finally, forbort needs to sit a game. He looks tired, he’s consistently making bad plays (I’m not talking about puck movement here). He needs a refresh.

It would take a VERY nice offer to get Norris and Batherson, but I think the Sens absolutely say no to the above trade. Niku hasn't broken through yet and this draft might be weak, whereas you're taking two solid and established middle-six two-way players

Oh I agree, the Lowry line messed up. But both forbort and Stanley were simply in no mans land. Forbort more so, but still. It was a breakdown on everyone’s part, not just Stanley. But I was just saying that imo, that’s the only thing he did wrong in the game and it’s sad he will probably be taken out of the lineup because of it.
