    Why would the Leafs trade a cap friendly JVR for an expiring contract in Sutter? Leafs already own Pittsburgh's 3rd pick. Your team is still short 3 players on the roster.

    You make it seem like an expiring contract is earth shattering. As soon as they acquire Sutter, resign him. Problem solved. Pittsburgh has another 3rd rounder they can give up. The team can fill the final 3 spots from free agency. Any other brain busters?

    Yea, show how to fill the 3 free agency roster spots with 2.2 m. Leafs have enough 3rd/4th centres, with centres Nylander and Gauthier coming in 2016, so Sutter is a non factor. Want to find cap space, get rid of Kessell. Now that is a brain buster.

    you severely under value jvr, with his cap hit toronto should be able to get more for him then they did for kessel. throw in pouliot or maatta and a second and a deal might get done. and why would toronto take sutter when they are already trying to trade bozak?????

    Again with the trade Kessel? If you're wanting to be taken seriously, you might want to stop pushing that. There is 0% chance the Pens trade him this year.
