Caps Offseason with Explanations

Description
- Caps give Ovi an extra year, in return he knocks down his cap hit.
- McMchael makes team, but as a winger
- These moves leave the caps with a bit of spending money, they use this to fill hole left by trading Kuzy. I like Eller but he is a middle 6 center.
- Caps nab a veteren goalie to repalce Vanecek
EDIT - Changed Team Kuzy is traded too, Changed it to Vanecek who goes to Seattle

    Additional Details:
    Caps want to trade him, however he has a had limited no-trade clause. I feel this eliminates teams like CBJ, WInnipeg, etc. Furthermore, the caps won't want to trade him withen the division. With a limited market, I think Arizona grabs him for a couple picks

    Maybe they wouldn't, I picked a team that would likely not be on Kuzy's NMC. The destination isn't so important, the idea that he's traded for a pick is. Replace them with whatever team you like!

    Arizona isnt really in a position to do that.. they dont seem like a win-now team and are very limited on prospects.
    Also, if you do trade Kuzy, you could easily protect Sprong.. Ovi is a UFA and can be left unprotected..

    again, switch the team if you like. Interesting point about Ovi - i think thye only do that if they have some sort of agreement with him behind closed doors.

    Changed the team to relfect what happens if OVI doesn't sign until after the expansion draft

    Kempny to Det for a conditional bag of pucks to mentor Hronek and then get flipped for a 2nd or 3rd at the deadline.

    The Blues are worlds away form having the cap for that, and they need to freshen up the prospects cupboard. No chance.
