It's a minor part of the deal, but I'm not sure Ottawa gives up Thomson and Tychonik for Beecher. Just Thomson, maybe. That's a recent first round pick and a recent second round pick for another first rounder that was taken later in the draft than Thomson. Beecher hasn't exactly been a late round surprise (he's good, but I doubt he'd be picked much earlier if there was a redraft)

Pastrnak and 2 firsts for him? Yikes no way Boston does that. I get that Eichel is great, but I think people are overvaluing him, especially concerning the attitude, doucheness and diva-ness

Pastrnak has far far far more value than eichel. Are you aware pastrnak led the league in goals last year? Do you know who he is? There is no part of hockey where eichel tops pastrnak.

Eichel deal is as fair as your gonna get, however Ottawa wouldnt trade for Beecher because at least im confident next season Thomson gets a shot on there roster no deal for Ottawa
