Description
I just threw this together feel free to haggle the value, but it was worth a look.
I saw a ACGM earlier that inspired the Kessel trade. I think Phil would be ok with the MN trade this time around, one because Wild are getting better and familiarity with Guerin.
I'm personally out on Eichel but it's a popular trade. I personally prefer Reinhart.

  1. Fiala, Kevin [RFA Rights]
  2. Greenway, Jordan
  3. Rask, Victor
  4. Rossi, Marco
  5. 2021 3rd round pick (MIN)
Additional Details:
The 3rd is for Rask salary considerations.
2.

The 2nd is to make sure they select Soucy.

    1. Soucy, Carson
    2. 2021 2nd round pick (MIN)

Parise is not actually traded. I believe Wild and Parise will mutually agree to terminate his contract in the off-season. I created a 2nd Parise with the projected cap hit from recapture penalty and placed it in the IR.
      4.
      MIN
      1. Kessel, Phil ($3,400,000 retained)
      2. 2021 2nd round pick (CBJ)
      Additional Details:
Wild need cap savings so AZ retains 1/2. Though it's only like 500K in actual money. AZ wants into the 1st so Wild add their 1st in exchange for one of AZ 2nd round picks.
      ARI
      1. Dumba, Matt
      2. 2021 1st round pick (PIT)
      Additional Details:
Dumba is the more valuable piece at this point but in the Wild present situation this works for the Wild.
      5.
      MIN
      1. Johnson, Tyler ($1,500,000 retained)
      Additional Details:
I believe this would actually be a trade with Seattle, who likely get assets added to take him from the Lightning.
      TBL
      1. Dewar, Connor
      2. 2021 3rd round pick (PIT)
      Additional Details:
I think Johnson would be a nice fit for the Wild and if they can get Seattle to eat some cap for a ok prospect and a pick then this is a win IMO.

I respectfully disagree with taking on tyler Johnson. He's no longer good. Tampa should be paying Minnesota.

Dewar is going to be really good

Phil kessel isn't coming here. He already blocked a trade here. He's slow, has trash contract and stinks

Fair enough. I'm not sold on all this. I think Johnson is gritty and versatile. Kessel has blocked MN before but things have changed and I do disagree that he is slow. He doesn't look like a elite athlete but somehow he is. For reasons unknown Kessel fills the net no matter what.

Why would Johnson or Kessel have any interest in Minnesota? Doubt either would waive to go there. Minnesota's still away's from being a legitimate contender.

Johnson loses a lot of leverage this summer his NTC becomes a 12 team NTC and he is a former teammate of Spurgeon so maybe. Phil is more of a stretch but if he saw Eichel added and his familiarity with Guerin maybe he says ok, it's only for a year after all.

& mathematically it's impossible for wild to take on 1 of these contracts much less 2 or 3 due to needing to resign Joel Eriksson Ek, kaprizov

That's a major stretch adding Eichel, Johnson and Kessel in a single season. You're adding major salary there.almost $22 million to be exact can't help but wonder that both Parise and Suter are wasting their careers with that team.

Read and look. Your estimate of 22 mil is off. Not sure what your point is on Parise and Suter. And yes all this is a stretch. I don't actually work in the NHL so none of this should be taken seriously.

Sure because Arizona is taking on Dumb's full $6,000,000 while eating $3,400,000 on Kessel for another 2 years or so. Just stating fact that since Minnesota got both Parise and Suter Minnesota hasn't exactly lit up the league. And Parise is starting to trend down here.

What's Parise's motivation to terminate his contract? He's got a NMC so he can't be threatened with riding the bus in the minors.
I think working a salary rentention deal with Seattle is a pretty sweet idea. I'm not sure I've seen it done before.

Then yes Parise and Suter have been wasted not sure what that has to do with this ACGM though.
As far as your money numbers are concerned you are dealing with AAV of those contracts and not actual money. Arizona will need a legit RD so they have to pay someone they have many other spots where they will be able to save money. Also Kessel only has one year remaining.

He is riding pine right now and he hates it. He still wants to play but can't crack the starting lineup.

I guess weirder things have happened. My bad tho, I thought you only had him down for 1 year not 4. Man those contracts are brutal.
Have you seen how forked Nashville would be if Weber retired?

Other big reason parise would waive, he’s already made around 88 million of his 98 million in this contract. So the remaining seasons are like 6m, 2m, 1m, 1m. Something like that. And if he could take a 1 year min contract somewhere he can actually play and have a shot at a cup I imagine he would.
