I agree with the first sentiment that there probably isn't enough in this trade going to Buffalo. Its not going to add Turcotte or Byfield, but it does need another piece or two of value.

Completely disagree with the Brown "adds nothing" comment. He was the top scorer for LA this year and did it playing injured. Even if his scoring drops off, which is likely, the amount of leadership, experience, professionalism, and stability a guy like Brownie brings is something that Buffalo is sorely lacking. They'd be lucky to have Brown in their organization for mentoring guys like Cozens and Quinn.

But for all those reasons, you're right in saying Brownie likely isn't going anywhere. They are why LA wants to keep him.

I think the consensus is that turcotte is better than villardi. I dont think we get both, but i would prefer turcotte plus. Either way this is light.
