The thing that makes Vegas such a good team is their depth, they aren't going to throw that away to add Eichel.

Vegas says no in a heartbeat. Krebs is untouchable right now. He's a non starter for them. & if they trade for Eichel they'll keep Tuch and play them on a line again and hope the regain some of their old chemistry.

I honestly think Eichel will end up in Vegas. They need that star center and have shown a willingness to make big deals. But this is too many roster players going the other way. I could see Krebs and Smith going the other way plus prospects and picks.

ask me again after the 1st round is over. If Vegas gets dumped by the Wild and they can't score. More big changes will follow.

Look at the kings ransom they paid for Pacioretty a few years ago. That’s more than people think anyone will pay for Jack Eichel, and Jack is twice the player Pacioretty was. If Vegas loses in the playoffs in the first round, I expect they will look to make some changes. Making a big move like adding Eichel could be in their plans.

As good and as deep as Vegas is, they don't have a real offensive dynamo like Eichel. Lack of scoring has been the main reason they've faltered in the playoffs. Like I said, if they get knocked out early, everything is on the table. And I fully believe Eichel is getting moved this summer.

Wouldn't they need to deal another big money roster player to make the cap work though? They aren't gonna lose anyone in free agency and Eichel makes $10M.

Ya probably. But all of their other big contracts aside from Tuch have some form of trade protection. I'd assume they'd try to move one of their goalies in a seperate deal.
