Zero interest in Barrie, his numbers are inflated. Hyman's not leaving Toronto. Reinhart's as much of a center as like Nylander, I would rather just go after Danault in that case

Reinhart definitely signs for much closer to $7 million a season. Gaudreau is a good player, but I don’t think he’s what buffalo would want in this deal.

I'm not a Flames fan, so perhaps I have this wrong. From my perspective:

1. I would not trade Gaudreau + for Reinhart. Seek out a better deal.
2. It might also be time to move Gio. That may be sacrilege to some Flames fans but why not get a decent return on him, while you still can?
2. Give Monahan another season, he's got talent and might do well in a Sutter system if he plays with Sutter-style line-mates.
3. Hyman would be a great add, but expect a bidding war if he doesn't give TO a home-town discount. Calgary may have the cap space, but will need to be careful not to over-pay.
4. Barrie will want more money, especially with a 4-year term. All that being stated, Barrie doesn't strike me as the kind of d-man Sutter favors.
