Don't think you'd get Buch for Kadri 1 for 1

As a rangers fan, I dont hate this... Buch has proven to be an important piece of the offensive puzzle but this could clear some space for another up and coming winger and address the need for center depth that they need. Not really sure what would be needed to balance out the trade since buch is an RFA and will be team controlled for a while so that certainly increases his value.
Overall nice idea though

Anderson has done well this year undoubtedly, but that contract isn't going to age well.

Anderson would be ideal physicality for the second line. I don't know about not ageing well, a lot will depend on fitness. 5.5mil per won't seem anywhere near what it is now by the time he's done IF he stays fit. Bearing in mind we're all talking about signing Landy to 7.5 plus for 7 years. Two still comparatively young but very physical players who time may take its toll on. 5.5 is comparatively cheap for a 2RW now and will be cheaper each year the cap goes up, even allowing for it staying flat next season. I doubt it stays flat any longer than that.

as a habs fan I don’t think we want kadri... he was one of ou rival and we still have Zuk KK Evans and maybe danaut if we resign him. Poehling is down there waiting for a call up.

Yeah it's an argument I've heard before with other teams and other players. Not sure that really counts for much when it comes to the business of hockey. On the other side of the coin he grew up a Habs fan and would certainly waive to go there I would think. Point taken on the number of centres already there though.

Certainly give the Leafs fans another reason to hate on him and spice up the rivalry lol.

If he waived, Rangers could consider Kreider for Kadri 1 for 1.
