Could see the Rangers doing that. 3rd rounder for Zadorov is too early in my opinion, but could see the rangers valuing the size and meanness factor. Plus we have a 3rd D spot available to protect another player on the backend, so it would make sense for rangers to make some kind of low key trade for a veteran bottom pair d man. Zadorov had oddly decent underlying numbers/analytics this year too.

This team is in the exact same spot as it was last season. Toews coming back isn't enough, they need to add significant pieces via trade or free agency. I'm fine with adding Graves, not Glendening, Korpisalo and Hjalmarsson though.

Why would the Hawks want Korpisalo? Not only are his stats just "okay" but he's playing behind a better defense then the Hawks. Further, he's a 1 year rental. 1) no reason to acquire him as such, 2) big overpay to give up Strome for him.

Graves is not a 1st liner IMO, and while I like him, I think we are better off with Kalynuk, a 2nd and 3rd round pick for a rebuilding team that is relatively loaded with bottom 4 prospects/players.

Jammer is damaged goods, no reason to bring him in especially for one year.

Kampf is a good 4th C and on a better deal then Glendening. Im not opposed to the Zads deal but not a fan of the others.
