Cant do the ducks trade, Silverberg is on fire right now and the ducks have a lot of top defenseman and need help on the wing

Ok cool. I was curious because a lot of the drafts say they could lose him to expansion. These deals would be done in the offseason before the expansion selections

Its because Bieksa has a NMC so we're gonna lose one good player unless we trade a defenseman

I'm a Flyers fan but live in Anaheim and go to ducks games all the time. Silfverberg is severely underrated in my opinion, but I tihnk the Ducks will find a way to keep him. Either talk Bieksa into waiving his NMC to be exposed. I think they should try to get to the 7-3-1 protection: Perry, Getzlaf, Rakell, Kesler, Silfverberg, Cogs, Etem, Vatanen, Lindholm, Fowler, Gibson. That leaves Vermette, Cramarossa, Shaw, Despres, Bieksa, and Manson exposed. I'd rather lose any of them than Silfverberg don't you think?

dont think Ghost alone gets you Dutch, plus I dont see them looking atthat style of Dman since they already have barrie

Thanks for the input! I guess I was looking for value and I figured they were both pretty close but depending on team needs could equal it out. I know some COL fans have talked about getting Sanehim or Provorov from the Flyers and they both have the potential to be great offensively so I figured an already established offensive defensmen would make more sense.

Well they will have to go elsewhere because the Flyers don't have that except Gudas and Provorov lol

MDZ or Streit for a 2nd or 3rd. I don't know what is up with Nuge but I'd rather have Draisaitel

Ghost by himself wouldn't get Duchene. Also I don't think they'll give him a long term deal. Hextall will probably want a bridge deal for him.

As for the trade with Anaheim, I wish we had drafted Steel instead of Rubtsov. I understand Hextall's thinking in that decision, but Steel is tearing up the WHL right now (2-pt per game) and we had a chance to get him. Just the playmaking center we need right now and in the future. But if you want him and Silfverberg, it'll probably take more.

Dumba I think would be a good pick up because he's RHD, but i don't think the Wild will give him up if they can't help it.

The Dumba trade would depend on what pick the 1st is. 6OA compared to 21OA (random numbers) is a big difference in value.

Right now it's a bad trade form Minny: Hagg doesn't do anything for the Wild, and a couple of unknown future picks.

A Flyers Duchene trade would require Provorov as the main piece. Sort of the end of the discussion on Colorado's end. Nothing else makes much sense for them.

Highly doubt that would actually be the case. Flyers have a ton of good D prospects.
