Can you offer something of value to Buffalo in exchange for Reinhart instead of a bunch of crap? The mid round first a year from now is the best thing in that offer. Bowey’s fine as an afterthought throw in, but Buffalo needs top six forwards to replace the guys they are losing, not more third and fourth liners.

Mantha brought an experienced roster player in Vrana that can score besides the 2 draft picks. Quantity doesn't mean quality. He can also wait one year become an UFA and then exit and go home.

Maybe so but it also sets the bar. Reinhart's value also goes up as he proved he can also produce at center which provides flexibility which is also a big plus. Mantha and Reinharts stats match up to a tee.
