Flames won't be using Wolf to dump Lucic. Also you can't buy out for a calendar year

Rangers will expose DeAngelo and if Seattle doesn't take him, they will just buy him out for cheap. They wouldn't give up assets for Seattle to take him. You're looking at Seattle taking one of Blackwell, Gauthier, Howden, or Hajek; depending on who is protected and who isn't.

Andersson will be protected? Lucic is in CGY to stay.

Possibilities: kylington, gio, backlund (if not protected), phillips

Well Smith and Debrusk will both be protected.

As far as goalies go. B’s protect Darth and Swayman is exempt. If they want to take Rask who won’t sign with them….be my guest. It’s a waste of a pick on their part and we lose nothing. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Lauzon and Ritchie/Frederic which ever one is left exposed are the likely choices for Seattle though Boston will likely try to make a deal to keep them.

Canes are a let you take who you want to take kind of team. they arent the Panthers.

Maybe we pay for Seattle to take Gardiner but we arent paying to keep from taking someone. If they take Skjei, it sucks but we can get another shut down defender.

Wait not picking Andersson? You have Hanifin Gio Tanev protected? Andersson is protected over Giordano

What? Debrusk and a pick? I think you need to look at the bruins list of players they’ll need to protect. Debrusk will for sure be protected, as will smith, and none of their good goalies really need protection.

They should be using any prospect avalible to dump lucic, doesnt matter if it is wolf but someone needs to go.

The rangers would be clearing 4.8 mil and getting rid of a terrible piece

I looked at the list of players, cassidy doesnt like debrusk and debrusk isnt working out in boston.... Both of their goalies need protection

They have plently of prospects but little cap space, this is the best option for an underpreforming 30 year old on a big contract

No he doesn't. He has a M-NTC. He doesn't have to waive. If GMBT wants to expose Gio they can

None of their goalies need protection actually. Again, i think you should take a look at who they’ll have to protect. There is a 0.0% chance debrusk is unprotected. He had a tough year, but he’s been good in the playoffs. First injury in the top six, and boom, debrusk is up there. For goalies they’ll protect vladar because swayman and tuukka won’t require protection.

Dude was on pace for 30 goals in 82 games. That's underperforming for 5.25 mil? Get real. They have 30 mil in cap this summer too! They do not need to move Nino, especially when he's been as fantastic has he has

buying out Deangelo only costs 300k in the first year and 800k in the second year, not worth giving up a great prospect, a second in a stacked draft and a third
