If Klefbom can't stay healthy, can't see Boston making this move considering their defense can never stay healthy as it is. Klefbom is a solid defender, but Bruins dont necessarily need him.

If Klef comes back healthy, thats a complete steal and even if he doesnt, thats still 4ish million dollars to replace DeBrusk

If he was 100%. Sure. He isn’t and by his own admission is not sure when or if he will play again. Hard pass.

As for the trade, I personally don't see Klefbom getting the return you describe.

Barrie was the last player I added, and only did so because I had so much cap space. Letting Bouchard over rippen in the AHL is always an option and provides the team with depth.

Klefbom' health is definitely a question mark, but if healthy he is an upgrade on the Boston blueline over everyone not named McAvoy.

Sure, not a risk i’m taking tho. Get someone who is healthy instead. When he is questioning IF he will play again…i want no part of it.

Bruins decline, they win the trade if Klefbom ends up being healthy but it's way too risky because he may never play again. Also it'll take way more to dump Neal's contract.
