That is highly doubtful Jones signs an extension anywhere, it’s not that he wants out of Columbus, it’s that he wants to see what he can get on the open market. Yes, Jones likely gets traded, but he isn’t going anywhere with an extension.

the leafs trade: you're getting a lot for a goalie who's probably going to seattle and a d-man who's gone after next year. i like the pickups from a leafs perspective, but i feel like dubas will want a bit more (draft picks/prospects maybe) to pick up a couple guys you're unloading for something before they leave for nothing.

Jones is overrated and Korpisalo is isn't even fit to be rated (tried to make that sound more clever) so gosh it's a lot there even with an extension you mentioned
