Things Leafs fans need to accept

Description
1-Auston Matthews has no heart, no drive to win, IMO he shouldn’t even wear a letter
2-Sheldon Keefe isn’t a good coach
3-even if it means selling low and only getting, say, 80% of his value, Marner needs to be dealt, cause if he isn’t, the Leafs will show they have no accountability and that’s the absolute worst. The trade below is an example in terms of value as a starting point


This is my last Leaf post for a while, this team doesn't deserve my time. I'll still continue to comment on the team but no more AGMs after this one.

-Dermott and Hirvonen to Seattle to secure Kerfoot, the guy's a keeper
-even if he doesn't retire (he 100% should), don't bring back Joe. Dude's washed.
-Robertson replaces Galch. Galch stinks. Awful decision making, HORRENDOUS defense and his useless dekes he seems to do on every shift are useless and dangerous. Let him go somewhere else.
-bring Hyman and Spezza back
-sign Goodrow. Ideally Cizikas but Lou will do everything to keep him in Long Island
-run an Engvall-Goodrow-Spezza 4th line and if it doesn't work out then bring in an energy forward for that 4LW spot
-get a new PP coach. Running such a HORRENDOUS PP with that level of skills is UNACCEPTABLE
-show accountability. Trade Marner. And hell, if you receive a good offer for Matthews...
-fire Dubas
-fire Keefe
-fire whoever ran the PP

At this point even this is too much for Marner. Him being a playoff loser isn't even a coincidence anymore, it's a pattern at this point.

And the thing is, I can't explain it. Like where does his uselessness in the playoffs comes from??

Legit he's one of the players I despise the most. Don't give a crap about his off ice stuff

Maybe a bit harsh on Matthews but I also can’t really debate it given him and Marner falling apart when it matters. Keefe should not return. The guy is not an NHL head coach. I also think Leafs fans need to stop the Dubas love affair until he proves he’s worth the hype. The guy made an awful trade for Foligno and the contracts to Tavares and Marner were less than bright.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

This team is so pathetic. One of Matthews or Marner has to be playing for a different team next season, period. This cannot happen.

Change the 1st to the Islanders 2021 1st and I think its plausible.

Good point on Jumba Joe. Why was he even dressed if he can only go 8 minutes?
I get that TV likes the beard...and oh, did they often show that beard on the bench.

when you overpay players you have no more cap room for depth, marner, mathews and Tavares are all overpaid by 2-3m each, thats 6M, look att all the 20g+ 50p+ players around the league the leafs would be able to get with a extra 6M that could have helped when their star players struggled.

look at MTL 3rd line vs the leafs....its not even close

i said they should have traded marner instead of re-signing him to fill their holes on G and D and was blasted....well i'm laughing now, marner has less value now then then because of his contract.
