Here's the thing - you're 100% correct that Seider is overhyped by much of the fanbase here (and everywhere), but why would we trade him at this point for an $11M right wing? Maybe if he was a Center or a LHD but not a winger.

Seider may become exactly what he is projected to be, and then that would really hurt. There is no reason to make this kind of trade at this point. Marner isn't abbreviating the rebuild and without a Defense there is no rebuild.
