Fear not, Lauzon will be taken by Seattle if he's left unprotected.

The guy made a mistake. It happens. Good player, foolish over reaction by a reactionary fan.

Is this because of the pass the other night? Lighten up, Francis. It was one mistake.

And at least the pass, although bad, actually hit a Bruins player first. It wasn't like Galchenyuk or Dermott who put it right onto an opponent's stick.

Precisely. This is where bruins fans can be super annoying. That’s just a hockey play. It happens. Unexpected change, forward skating across the blue line when they normally wouldn’t be, and thus, an open passing lane disrupted. The same thing happens with rask in this town all the time. There’s a double deflection and the talk radio are guys are talking about how the bruins should go after a stand up style goalie.

Can't speak to the radio guys up there personally but my wife, who lived in Boston, would tell me how much they overreacted. It's insane. One bad playoff and you're outcast. That's why I love watching the Leafs fans meltdown. In 2013, it was Kessel's fault. In 17 and 18,it was Gardiner's fault, 2019 and 2020, it was Freddy Anderson's fault. Now in 2021, it's Marner's fault.

The problem with boston is that its a combination of super informed hockey guys (most of whom grew up playing in boston, and know the game well), and basketball folks that listen to the talk radio guys and think they then know about hockey. Problem is, the radio guys are there to troll. The stand up style comment wasn’t a joke. I hopped in the car and somehow caught 15 seconds of the sports talk guys where they were saying it makes no sense that tuukka hasn’t adopted more of a stand up style of goaltending.

I’m not his biggest fan but he’s still young and raw. Give him some more time
