Reinhart and much much more

Created by: sk540
Team: 2021-22 Philadelphia Flyers
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 3, 2021
Published: Jun. 3, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Clearly right up against the cap which puts in a situation down the road, but we do have plenty of assets who should be easily tradeable (Lindblom, TK, Laughts, Sanheim), and this is just about next year. This puts us in a good position to be a cup contender.

Additional Details:
Saw this trade on another forum but it was only Ghost, Patrick and a 1st which I think would be a slight underpay, so I added Hagg who is a solid bottom 4 guy who plays defense first, and is only under contract for one more year. he probably had his best stretch of hockey this year, in the midst of the Flyers falling off the rails.

That Hamilton signing is compeletely unnecessary if we are trading for Jones.

I think you need a better player instead of Hagg. Switch him for a decent prospect f

Since it was announced that Hayes had to have surgery for the same injury that Giroux and Ghost had a few years back I'm willing to be that he's going to bounce back this season since he will be healthy which makes signing RNH unnecessary I'd rather allow Frost or Laughton to fill the 3C role or if you're set on signing RNH use frost in the jones trade instead of Myers instead of signing Dougie

So what you're basically saying is it's unnecessary to get better, or to acquire one of the best dmen in the league? How is that unnecessary?

I really hope so, and if that's the case then yea, RNH is unnecessary. Like I said if this was thinking of beyond 21-22 then I probably would save that cap space but in the all in scenario, I think this is a stacked team.

I wouldn't mind that, like a Strome or Ratcliffe?

Jones is a top pair D man and so is Hamilton we don't need to have 3 top pair D men on our defense. Also if we are signing Hamilton we would have no money to sign Couturier, Farabee, Jones and Allison after the season who are all gonna get a raise.

We don't need to have 3 top pair dmen?? What would be the problem with having 3 top pair dmen? Did you not watch our flat out inability to keep other teams of the scoresheet?

Again, I said this was thinking of only this year. But, if you wanna go into the future, simply don't sign RNH and that's 7 million more, plus what the cap will go up the season after next and Braun, Hagg, NAK, etc off the cap.
