You’re not getting Drysdale for Reinhart. You’re not getting enough for Eichel even with those contracts attached. The Risto trade is interesting if CBJ trades Jones. You still need more value going to TB for those players as they aren’t at the top of the list of their cap casualties.

Anaheim is also getting cap space. Ana get Sam and $17 million dollars.
I don’t think any trade is enough value for jack. This one as the added value of cap freedom.
TB isnt going to be able to dump who they “want” to dump. And their trade partners are very limited. I agree tb is getting hosed talent wise. but they wont even be able to re-sign AC when his deal is up. This is a pure hostage situation be ause of the cap.

Henrique is still a quality middle 6 C even if his cap hit is a little high. He doesn’t have negative value and the ducks don’t need the cap space. BUF needs to get multiple pieces in return to restart the rebuild. Cap space is nice but they need more than one piece for the rebuild. TB can use picks or prospects to unload Johnson to SEA and Killorn will be a sought after player if available. There’s enough players for TB to move before they get to Cirelli.

Columbus isn’t trading for a rental… they decline easily. Plus Merzlinkins already said he’d resign in Columbus if they moved Korpisalo and make him the number one so he didn’t have to share the crease. Risto would likely walk to be a UFA from Columbus.

The first trade is awful for Buffalo. The other three trades are awful for the other teams.

Multiple teams have cap, one being the former TB GM who drafted, traded, or signed those two players. Putting that aside TB would look to move others to be compliant over this move like TJ & Killorn.
