I think Beniers will go #2. I'm not saying he's necessarily overrated, but he's a ways away from becoming in NHL'er. Probably needs at least one more year at Michigan, and 2 years in the AHL before he cracks an NHL roster. In comparing him to top 2-3 Draft picks from the past few seasons, I think he's definitely a notch below all 3 top 3 guys from last season and the same is probably true for any Draft in recent memory.
If I were Seattle, I would look to leverage this pick in a deal with a team that needs cap space. Maybe a team like the NYR, just as an example, would part with the 16th pick, a solid prospect, and Kreider in exchange for the #2 pick. WASH or Vegas could be in on a similar deal, as well. I think this year's Entry Draft, combined with the Expansion Draft, and the flat cap will create a perfect storm for a rare trade involving a top 5 team on the Draft board.
