Description
Leafs Fans Keep Talking about how they need Seth Jones, and while I do not necessarily agree this is a scenario which in which I could see it happening. Granted It would require Jones to agree to an extension with the Leafs beforehand (in the 5yrs/ 7M range). Let it be noted that the only reason I believe this deal might be plausible would be because CBJ does not want to lose Jones for nothing after next year

Seattle takes Holl from the Leafs in the expansion Draft, Leafs will Protect Rielly, Brodie (Jones in this case) and Muzzin and 7 FWDs. Holl's ability at his cap number and term provide some of the best value for your dollar in the league and Seattle won't pass that up.

I believe Hyman Resigns for around 4.5 -4.75M for 4-5 Years. I know there are some people saying he will get up to 6M or more and I just have to say that is crazy from a guy who has never had more that 41 Points in a season, so if another team offers him that the leafs are best off letting him walk.

Other smaller deals include getting guys that play that bigger/heavier/aggressive style in the same vein of the Casey Cizikas, Warren Foegele, and Barkley Goodrows of the league.

Note Using Taxi Squad to denote players that will move between AHL and NHL to fill Gaps/injuries

Final Comment, looking at the end product not sure if the Savard Signing has the dollar value to work but regardless the Leafs would have about 3.5m to sign a second pairing right D-man to play with Muzzin or closer to 5m if they don't spend money on the backup and use Hutch.

I agree Hyman shouldn't get more than 5M$ but I think he's the exact type of player who this league overpays (hustle type guys) and so yeah 😬

I bet NJ gives him 4x5.8 in a fit of desperation

Dude didn't even play c for majority of last year, & this year

He literally goes from being below average to average when he's put at wingers

Yiu talking about the same kerfoot all leafs fans attack?

Also, kerfoot is the next Jeremy Bracco because he's offered up in trades for other teams players, & when fans of those teams say no, leads fans like yourself become very defensive of kerfoot, much like Jeremy brasco before

I get that I'm not saying Min would accept it either, but I thought there could be a chance however unlikely b/c MN is very shallow down the middle outside of Ek, and Kerfoot, say what you, will was very good for Toronto in the playoffs this year and has shown the potential to be a number 2 center in the past.
