Additional Details:
Chicago gets a crazy haul to launch their rebuild. It comes at a high cost but they get a first and three seconds. Two A+ prospects in Amirov and Robertson, Three B+ prospects in Hirvonen, Niemela and Liljegren. Dermott is a wildcard who could become a top 2D, a top 4D or just a 5/6 guys. He has been a bit inconsistent but has clear potential.

Toronto get two years to seriously chase a cup with three first lines.

Teams will be going with 22 man rosters. One of the worse trades, I have seen. So the Leafs spend 10.5m with for two players and give up their futures. Leafs would be 100 times better signing a very good UFA at 10m and keeping all their young assets.

I don’t think the picks cover the 21 million in retained cap hit (think 1 first to get rid of $6M Marleau) , and the prospects included won’t come even close to getting those two players.

Yes insane. Hawks aren't moving these guys for that. We don't want to be in mediocrity for too long and Kane is still the best RW in the league.

No from the Oilers, I don't think anyone would give a second for Kerfoot, he's just not worth it with his cap hit.
And there is no way the hawks do that trade, how can they kick start a rebuild with 10.5 mil in dead cap space?

Hawks don't touch that. A bunch of middle to low tier prospects (Amirov maybe is the only A-) and 2nd rounders plus $10.5M in dead cap...crazy. They wouldn't trade Kane for that.

I’d do a third for Kerfoot but not a second.
