Jets decline the Ottawa trade, as Beaulieu plus WPG 3rd for an Ottawa 4th isn't worth it.

No need to add the WPG 3rd as Beaulieu isn't a cap dump. The Jets could bury $1,075,000 of his $1,250,000 salary in the AHL if they really wanted to.

That’s pretty spot on for an Eichel trade. I really don’t think Buffalo would get much more than that

And Ottawa isn't a good landing spot for him anyway what with Chabot, Brannstrom, Mete, and Sanderson getting added once UND ends their season. No need for Beaulieu.

Good point. Just don’t want to see him remotely near the D core. But you’re right!
