I think the Leafs would only make this trade if they were to go after a big fish in the trade deadline, possibly Shattenkirk. Add another trade to make this deal worth it.

What do you mean add another trade to make this deal worth it? This gets us future assets with upside for an expiring contract and bozak. We lose bozak yes but can call up kapanen to see what he can do.

I'd think Hanzal would be open to potentially resigning with the Oilers, he'd make a great 3rd line center for the next 3 or 4 years behind McDavid and Nugent-Hopkins. Also, Bozak doesn't seem like a good fit to the system in Edmonton.

Yeah benson is one of their 2 great forward prospects and jones is top defensive prospect.

The Leafs will not be sellers as long as they have a shot at the playoffs. Please check the standings. Bozak and Polak are important contributors to the Leaf this year. And Bozak might even be needed next year.
