You don't have the 13th pick technically Philly does since ARI lost theres. Also Walsetdt won't be available at the flames pick

Definitely as unpredictable a draft as ever so grains of salt here but it's solidifying a bit and they could almost certainly trade down for Clarke if they were at 2

Wallstedt meanwhile very likely gone at 13 also

He's on par with the Guenthers in terms of overall value and I mean SJ (at 7 OA) might view him as a goalie oasis after being in the desert for so long

I think OP and Beniers almost certainly go 1 2

Next 7 picks very likely SE KJ DG WE LH JW BC

I really like the way those first two trades are structured and the first one especially is super cool and makes me inspired to craft an AGM on that

Why the hell would you take Clarke over Beniers?

Philly doesn't need Risto. Risto is bad defensively and we need defensive Dman

I know what you mean it's technically is still the 13th pick. NHL is just cruel and wants to make it look extra bad on Arizona.
I have no idea where ppl will go in this draft because it's a scouting nightmare year. I figure walls to be to San jose or as late as 15. But who really knows.

Because team needs RHD not centers after the eichel trade team has 6 plus young NHL calber ones. It's a depth and skill call. Best player drafting is luxury in my mind gaping wholes increase value of certain players.

He's actually is just average defensively but been on bad team for a while so if you just look at plus minus its not fair. Risto also out produced Patrick point wise too btw. This is just a change of scenery trade tho as both players have basically said they are ok with moving.

Why not? Players basically said they want team to make a push and you never know if prospects will actually develop.

Being average isn't enough, our defense was really bad last season and we are looking for a defensive d man. Patrick hasn't actually said anything that he would want a trade, it's only being speculated due to him changing his agent.

Beniers is being projected as like a bo Horvat. Good #2 center. I would say that has less value then top paring d 60% of the time. And again sabers don't need a top 2 center with Byfield and cozens on this team (hopefully).

You are underselling Beniers and his drive to be the best, he is more like Toews. Absolutely relentless.

No idea how you plab on getting Byfield since LA has openly said he is a non-starter

Byfield is untouchable. Reports have already come out of LA saying that asking for Byfield in exchange for Eichel is "a non-starter".

I can understand that but it could also be smoke screen to ease cost of getting eichel. It's been pretty well out there that LA and NYR are going to have bidding war.

I'm sure they will. LA is prepared to offer up names like Turcotte, Vilardi, Kupari and others to compete with other teams. If Buffalo insists on Byfield, then LA is out.

would LA really need Byfield if they had a Kopitar- Eichel - Turcotte - Valardi as there center core? My eyes say no

LA wouldn't need one of Turcotte or Vilardi if Kopitar-Eichel-Byfield-Turcotte/Vilardi were their center core. That looks much better than what you listed.

Byfield is the future in LA. He will not be traded, not even for Eichel.

In that case, Buffalo should just keep Eichel.

For LA obviously. They had players come out and say they want another cup run and dont want to be in rebuild. Buffalo has to build properly hints title of this agm.
But I get it you will never back down from your opinion and what you have heard will obviously always come true.
