After five years in a row, the better bet is not "if" it's "when" they fail again

Behind Anze Kopitar, we have Quinton Byfield, Alex Turcotte, and maybe Gabe Vilardi at center, with Jaret Anderson-Dolan and Blake Lizotte filling out the depth chart. Meanwhile, we've got about 9 guys looking for playing time in the bottom 6. So I don't think that we would pay a fifth-round draft pick for Alex Kerfoot, who is nothing more than expansion-draft-fodder in light of the fact that 90% of the Toronto ACGMs I see for 2021-2022 have him as the player selected by Seattle from your roster.

many teams have had playoff struggles its nothing new. Colorado cant seem to get out of r2 despite having Mackinnon, Landeskog, and Rantanen. Washington has not made it out of r1 for 3 years despite dominating the regular season.

Once a team jumps over the hurdle they never look back. Leafs are young and that's a benefit as many of the strong teams in their divisions are getting older and will be going through rebuilds/tools soon

With pressure comes adversity and everyone knows this is their last chance to get it done.

5 years in a row R1 exists is a record for a reason.

Colorado is facing much stiffer competition, but they also are indeed able to get our of R1.

Clearly Washington does look back as they have regressed the last 3 years.

I was thinking of kerfoot as more of a top six winger as he has proven and LA is rumoured to be looking for 2 top six wingers this offseason

Not close on Dvorak. Terry isn’t going anywhere unless it’s in a package for a massive upgrade.
