Look at kerfoot contract vs Dvorak’s. Kerfoot has his cheapest years left on his contract whereas Dvorak is the opposite. Maybe leafs would add a little more but simply looking at the players face value doesn’t give u near the whole picture

Dvorak is the much better player and is very much worth his contract. If your only justification for this trade is money, you're already wrong.

But kerfoot isn’t good.

This is such a no brainer rejection for arizona.

I see no reason for the Coyotes to give up Dvorak for a worse player and random throw ins. A second round pick, at a minimum, would need to be added.

Because Toronto massively upgrades their roster going from Kerfoot to Dvorak without giving up much to do it.

I agree but we don't have many assets because we traded most of our picks for the next 2 seasons
