Is the Seattle trade for them to select Niku in the Expansion Draft or is he part of the deal? You know what, doesn't matter. Makes ZERO sense for Seattle to trade the 2nd Overall pick for a much later one, a 3rd, and Niku. You must be a whole lot higher on Niku than the Jets organization obviously is!

Seattle definitely isn't doing that deal, and this lineup would miss the playoffs back in the central next year, ESPECIALLY if Paul Maurice is still the coach of this team.

Seattle says no. It would make more sense for it to be a WPG 1st and 3rd for a Seattle 2nd and expansion draft consideration if you want it to look closer to the Vegas trade which was: Winnipeg Jets traded 2017 1st round pick (#13 - Nick Suzuki) and a 2019 3rd round pick (#82 - Michael Vukojevic) in exchange for Vegas selecting Chris Thorburn and Columbus' 2017 1st (#24 - Kristian Vesalainen)

Even then, not sure they would consider that and instead would just take Appleton or Stanley.

Winnipeg isn’t going anywhere as a team as long as its star center Scheifele continues acting like a petulant child, pretending to be a victim.

No accountability means you’re setting the wrong example for your young players. Time to grow up.
