Why would Cizikas leave the Isles?

It comes down to getting better depth players and I think this accomplishes that. For instance Galchenyuk playing top six down the stretch was never going to sustain itself. Leafs need to go out and find a way to get another affordable top 6 LW option to stick with Tavares.

With no cap space to do it. Good luck.

There’s a plethora of problems with this team, and honestly, its time to ask if it’s with the core group.

Give the core group one last run and send Mitch to the moon if it yields the same result. That’s where I think every rational person is at.

NSH declines. Jarnkrok is better and cheaper than Kerfoot, and there's no room for Engvall on the 4th line.

All that does is burn another year of Matthews.

Because the Isles have a worse cap situation than the Leafs. They have 6 million to resign Peelch, Sorokin, Beauviller, Cizkas and more.

They also have a great GM unlike the Leafs. Lou will figure it out.

Really Lou solution was trade Devon Toews who has the best season of his career.

So this year would his solution be to trade Peelch?
