Kerfoot is near 0.5 points per game which is decent. He’s signed for 2 more years at a decent price. And he plays C which CBJ needs.

I agree with most of what you have here. However I think the value in the trade by the poster is relatively close. It depends on the determined needs by each team moving forward. I hope the leafs stay in the "win now" mentality and keep their core together. Realistically they were a hot goalie away from a deep playoff run. I am confident the Jackets are going to enter a structured rebuild here. However I think the leafs are better off keeping a versatile forward such as Kerfoot. The Jackets should be pursuing a young developing center.

Hes the opposite of an offensive defenceman. He doesnt drive play at either ends of the ice. Sandin at this point has a way more beneficial impact in the ozone, and dzone. seth jones is not a good player and if youre implying giving up a future #1-#2 defenceman plus a good depth player on top of a 1st for a player who has had negative impacts on the ice for 2+ years is ridiculous to even suggest.
