How is Konency a better fit in Toronto? ... the media is ripping Marner apart of 0 goals in 18 playoff games but what about Konecny'a career 1 goal in 22 playoff games? Both are smaller forwards. And for as much as Konency is a **** disturber, a lot of his offence comes from the perimeter. Doesn't make much sense to bring him in when they have a better version of him in Marner and a younger version of him in Robertson.

Yeah it would have to be more. So many rumours linking them to him but I’m not sure what they have to offer. I don’t think they’d include a first.

No there isn't, there are players here that will likely get more somewhere else but then they are overpaid

Serious question, not being a jerk. Why did the flyers healthy Konecny and if he got healthied why are fans still high on him.

Foligno is coming off a $5.5M AAV contract and is still an effective player at 33 years old. You think he's going to sign a 1 year, $1.5M deal when this is likely the last decent pay day he's going to have in the NHL? That's ludicrous, in my opinion.

I'm also going to bet Galchenyuk will get, at minimum, a $1.5M deal. After relative success in TOR last year, I'm betting more than that. Is he worth it? I'm not sure, but for players in his age/production tier for last year (guys like Armia, McGinn, Martinook, etc), you're looking at a floor of $2M.

I think the smart move for Galchenyuk is to do a 1-1.5 1 year deal with TO and build on that success but you are correct there will be a team out there that could throw 2-2.5 at him
