Description

Offer sheet Makar 10M x7 and they have to match it but they're going to be up against the cap HaRD so it will handcuff them when Mack needs his deal. If they don't match you gladly give up the 4 1sts and use this as the all in window. Armia comes back on decent deal and can either play with Copp and Lowry again, or move up to the second line as he might mesh well with Dubois in terms of style and play. After losing Demelo signing hamonic as a 3rd pair to mentor Samberg at half the cost is a cap savings that's needed if you get Makar. If not (likely dont) sign Hamonic and replace with Demelo but frees up cap space

Doughty and Kopitar both signed their massive deals after signing their second contracts. NHL is different now guys are trying the Matthew's route shorter term for almost same money so 10 is nothing I'd you're buying all his prime
