The value is probably fair for an extended Jones but our management would want to be pretty damn confident of him returning to his best or we just gave away a fair chunk of future for a phat contract and a player who albeit can play top line minutes has improved us a great deal.

Jones said he won’t sign an extension prior to becoming a free agent. Laine is crap. Edmonton trade looks okay. Not sure if the value is even but I like the idea of Edmonton and Lumbus swapping Bear for a goalie
