No where near enough, would you trade McAvoy for that?

    Lol - he isn't McAvoy.

I love Tkachuk, but he has average 26 goals per 82 gp.

Debrusk is averaging 22.5 per 82 gp. I Know Tkachuk is better. Not saying that, but he isn't one of the best LW in the league.

Tkachuk is a great player but why are we giving up so much for what would be our 3LW.

    It doesn't make any sense.

Would love Chuky, but that is a massive overpay. Especially with only 1 year remaining.

Take out Lauko, Stud, and one of the 1sts you are in the ballpark.

    He’s a 60 point wing not 100 point center.

I'm guessing this is based off that Hall doesn't resign in which case he is the number 2 LW.

There is no trade that works for Boston and Calgary. The pieces CGY would want Boston isn't moving and I imagine there are many teams that could beat any offer Boston could make that isn't an overpayment. Honestly I'm not sure Boston improves their team with a "good hockey trade" as they call it. Either we'll need to swap reclamation projects with someone or bring in a struggling player (like OEL) that a team is looking to move on from and hope they bounce back.

That is true, but Hall and Tkachuk are fairly comparable. I would give a slight edge to Hall based on how long he has done it. Also averaging more points per 82. They are close. I could be convinced Tkachuk is actually better - although Lindholm is better than anyone Hall ever played with.

regardless, it's close enough that it would be insane to give up that much of your future for what would be essentially a lateral move on a guy with one year left and will probably want a pay raise. Hall seems willing to take a little less for the right fit.

I totally get this perspective, I think this is more of a collection of what they are missing from a tougher to play against style and the age of Tkachuk, as well as I think the room to grow that Tkachuk could get too. Also to align more of the age of Pasta and give them two high end youngish players moving forward.
