Yandle will turn 35, has no defense, there are better options and we can just bury Moore in the AHL. Pass

Detroit already have 4 RD and don't need more.

You need to offer a 1st to dump him for Detroit to be interested.

Staal played LD, a position we needed help in, and netted a 2nd round pick - Strålman plays RD where we're full.
Staal's salary was $3.2 million - Strålman cost $5.5 million.

Those two differences turns the cost into a 1st round pick.
