Yes. That being said, I'll take Georgiev for a 3rd.

I know they're steep but figured, we'll have to convince them to sign, and for two years it's not a major problem. Especially if they contribute like they have this year for their respective teams, and make the team more competitive.

Yes he is. TBL are JUST under the cap as it is ($1.5m under), and only have 16/23 players on their roster.
I don't necessarily agree with this ACGM, but Tampa needs to move some cap out still.

Make all those picks in the DET trade into the 2021 1st, 2022 1st, 2023 1st, 2024 1st, Jack Quinn, and John-Jason Peterka and we'll take Skinner.

Yzerman can't pick up the phone fast enough to accept that deal. 2 2nd rd picks in deep drafts, and 2 B-tier prospects is a GREAT haul for 2 years of Neal.

I like the DET trade. Even a late 2nd in the very deep 2022 draft is a great asset to have. But like <a href="/users/Billy12Bob" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@Billy12Bob</a> said, you may have to add another late pick to force Detroit's hand into accepting.
One of the more realistic ACGMs I've seen lately. Well done.

Yzerman magic
I've been preaching the NSH-DET swap so that DET can pick Cossa for a few weeks now. I think NSH agrees to this. If not, change the 4th to a 3rd this year and I think it goes through.
The Vrana, Hronek deals aren't enough money. Vrana will likely get 5.5m+, Hronek will likely get 4.5m+ AAV.
We have no need for Oleksiak, Hyman, or Ullmark. Bernier will be back, Hyman doesn't fit the rebuild and likely makes 5m+, and Oleksiak likely makes 4m+. He also doesn't fit the rebuild timeline.
I like the idea of picking up Patrick, but I don't think Philly makes that trade. At least not for Svech.
If McTavish drops to 6, I'll be ecstatic.

We don't want Eichel. You may think we do, but it would sacrifice too many futures. We'd simply stay a mediocre team for an extra 5-8 years.

My BEST attempt at predicting the Wings Off-Season
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>aedoran</b></div><div>The most common way in the US to fix issues with discs is spinal fusion. They go in remove what is left of the disc then with a special glue that fuses the vertebrae above and vertebrae below the bad disc together. Then they stabilize with screws and bars so the vertebrae can't pull apart while they fuse. Then you go back to have the screws and bars are removed. You are right with one fusion movement or motion lost isn't much but the 2nd and the 3rd you will start to notice it. I was able to find the name of the surgeon who did Bertuzzi's surgery. Dr. Frank Cammisa who specializes in disc replacement.</div></div>
I've had a spinal fusion myself. It's not that bad if it's just one. My father, who's had 3 on the other hand, that's when it gets rough. It also majorly depends on location.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>aedoran</b></div><div>Cossa won't be there at #22. Isn't that DDK's 2nd back surgery?</div></div>
You're right. Cossa won't. But NSH at 19 doesn't take him, and for the #23 and the #48, we could probably move up 3 spots.
I believe it is his second, but I don't think the first was nearly as major. Plus I believe the 2nd was a permanent fix for the 1st. Same issue, 2 surgeries. He won't be good much longer, but he has a year or 2 in him.

My BEST attempt at predicting the Wings Off-Season
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>aedoran</b></div><div>I noticed you had said that in a different ACGM and you are not alone several other Wing's fan here feel the same way and there is a 3rd group of Wing's fans that would ok with Dunn but they'd want something else as well. We have DDK who I like but his last back surgery and sitting out a full year may have too much at 31 and the league just keeps getting faster, can he still be effective in the 1st or 2nd pair? Cholowski has played in 109 games and still hasn't figured it out. Then we have McIsaac since being drafted has missed a big chunk of the last 2 seasons to have each of his shoulders surgically repaired and thats an injury that never heals 100%. So it's not will he need another operation but when will he need another operation.</div></div>
Honestly, IMO, Dunn just doesn't fit the Wings timeline. Cholo showed quite a bit of growth over the last year. I think he'll be a pretty solid 3rd pairing guy. Put him with Stech and he's got a real shot. McIsaac is a bummer for sure. DDK likely has a mediocre future, but he's a stop-gap until Stevie can figure the left side out. ALL that being said, I still don't see Dunn as the answer to any of those problems. I think this year was his peak performance level, and for a 1st rd pick, especially one that could pick us up a Cossa or a Chayka, it isn't worth it to me. But Stevie knows best. Maybe he does make that trade. I'm not going to be upset if he does. I just personally wouldn't.

Liljegren still has a chance to be something. Engvall can fill a hole while prospects can come up. I'd be happy with this trade. Detach the 1st rd pick bias from Liljegren and he's still a B-/C level prospect. If he truly doesn't pan out, whatever. It's not even our pick. Not to mention this draft is pretty damn shallow after the top 5. By just about all accounts.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>aedoran</b></div><div>Kenny Holland did draft Tom McCollum in the 1st round of the 2008 draft but it was #30. Once we get to the second half of the 1st round it gets very murky. COVID has made this the worst scouted draft in a long time. That is also part of the reason why I think Detroit should give up Washington's 1st for Dunn.</div></div>
I personally do NOT want Dunn. At all. Stevie has proved to be pretty Elite at drafting talent. I'd rather the pick. That being said. DET does need quite a bit of help on Left D. I could see it happening.
