    Makes sense. No pressure to make a deal. The value above, in my opinion, is insane. There's a future top six center who was ranked as high as 4th by some scouting services before he got hurt in his draft year and slid all the way to WSH, but now he's been healthy for a year and had a solid overage showing. There's a goalie who finished top ten in wins and minutes as a rookie. That's a good return for a top six center. Then you point out that Hertl can also be a big part of a shutdown line and a penalty kill, but they've already thrown in Hagelin to equal that. Plus, for no apparent reason, there's a 2nd round pick.
