Flames easily decline. No use for Reilly and Mangiapane isn't available. He is to important to this team IMO

Dallas declines. Hintz is really good and fits what they got going over there better then Marner does.

Flames very easily decline, mangiapane is untouchable. Also the flames don’t need Reilly

Stars decline we aren’t moving Hintz plus we don’t have the cap for Marner.

    Right.

I already would have liked to see Perry in TOR, before he went to MTL. Maybe he is looking for another challenge, when he gets the ring this year.

And the Dougie salary is less to fit the cap hit; this explains the 8-year contract.

    WIshful thinking. Try and error.

You can't sign him to 8 years. You would have had to trade for his rights at the deadline. Max 7 years

Totally understand your opinion. Watched the Flames a lot this season and really liked his game. Would be fun for every team, to have this guy in the lineup.

Actually I am fine, to keep Rielly for at least another year; he earned to be part of the historic Leafs Team, which finally is able to reach the second round of the Playoffs. "Somehow... Someday, somewhere..."

I disagree with your assessment of Marner's ability to fit what the Stars have, but Dallas would need to decline just on the basis of cap hit for bodies. Heiskanen is gonna be getting a new contract, Robertson will need a pay day too if he continues, and Klingberg needing signed again too kills it.

It makes me sad though since Marner is my favorite player not named Heiskanen, lol.

What would it take to get the Robertson brothers together? Oh man, I would love that. Sedin 2.0.

It would take the Leafs sending Nick over to Dallas in a trade. Winking with Tongue Out

But I signed him for 8 years, like the Oilers did with Ryan Nugent Hopkins lately.

For the sport and the NHL a total yes. As a Leafs fan I would decline. 😅 So Marner for Robertson and... ? 😏
