Considering Stan just signed Stillman to a 3 year deal...I can't see the Hawks doing that SJS trade even if it were for a 2nd.

Also, Hawks aren't going to touch Deangelo with a 100' pole. ESPECIALLY considering the allegations going on right now.

Also, I sure hope the Hawks sign Hinostroza. There is obvious weakness on the right side, especially if Nylander is a bust and Guadette is tweener. Not sure Borgstrom is going to be anything either. To many "what if's" not to sign him.

Lastly, De haan is not a first liner and Beaudin still needs time in the AHL. Kalynuk has shown he's further into his development and should be playing as such.

Jets wouldn't want Zadorov for two 2nds (Torgersson was a 2nd rounder in 2020)

I am trying to tank, and it’s smarter to give Nylander and Gaudette good minutes instead of the already developed Hinostroza. De Haan is by far the best LD on the team, so he is playing on the first pair. DeAngelo is only for the 2nd, he will not play for the team.

Their d is atrocious which is why I can see them doing that. It’s an overpay for sure but a realistic one based on their needs.

For a reasonable price I could see the Jets taking a look at Zadorov, but for an overpay like this I'm sure the Jets would pass.

De Haan is not the best LHD on the team not to mention he can't stay on the ice because of injury. He's a stay at home D man, good around the net, but doesn't move the puck well and can't press into the neutral or offensive zones. He's a 3rd liner on a good team, a 2nd on a bad team, a first liner on no team.

I agree. However, I wanted to give Boqvist a veteran partner, and Keith is barely an NHL level dman at this point. De Haan was my only choice.

Keith is certainly an NHL level D man...that is hugely over critical. He's not a #1 and unrightfully so has been put in that position which makes him look worse then he is. He would be a good #4 guy for sure.

Fair enough, imo he's a bottom pairing guy, and could do a lot as a mentor and a partner for Mitchell.
