Yeah, not sure you get a second along with Palat for Vatenen, maybe a 3rd BCS.

And on the other side of it, I don't think you need two 2nd rounders along with Bernier to get Domingue and Stone. Maybe just Bernier and one 2nd rounder.

Nope, definitely not a pick being added by TBL. I mean, unless you want to retain a little salary, which isn't going to happen.

I'm confused as to why we trade for Micheal Stone? Wouldn't we lose him at the expansion draft anyway? I understand this is for a deep playoff run, but it seems expensive.

I think Palat for Vatanen straight up is more than fair for both teams, but I'm not sure Palat is the type of player ANA needs. He seems too similar to Silfverberg i.e. an elite shutdown winger who can chip in the occasional goal and make the occasional play. I think ANA needs more of a scoring winger or C.

I feel like Vats is worth more than Palat. Vased on position and style and Palats up coming raise requirment. But as a basis I think it is work able. Id see him replace Cogs on the 2nd line. Id be hesitant to do it but Cogs and Thompson were money in the playoffs a few years ago and it could give us 4 lines we can play safely.

As far as Stone goes. I see him as likely a better fit as a partner for Fowler. He would likely be a full rental with his history I think he'll get some attention. You have to send JB back to make cap work so you take Domingue back. JG has taken full control of the starting gig. Doningue also gives the Ducks a goalie to expose.
