I’m not saying I’d do this, but it’s being reported that this is the level of ask that Buffalo is asking for.

Seems like a lot for a disgruntled player coming off a significant injury.

I am a lifelong Sabres fan and a 30+ Sabres Season ticket holder so you know I have to be messed up in the head and YES YES YES that is insane and such an overpay.

I would say this is more like the package I would hope for from Rangers:

I think Sabres fans are going to be disappointed a little bit with the initial return they get for Eichel. But you have to hope that the scouting department picks the right pieces that they do get and they make the long term impact that the organization truly needs.

I would say this is more like the package I would hope for from Rangers:
