Really nice roster, but I probably would've buried Morin and called up either Danault, Hartman or Baun to the main roster to take his place since all of them are more talented than Morin has been or ever will be.

The Cheap Arizona club is not going to want the 4m Bickell, especially since he can barely make the NHL. Sorry the Hawks are stuck with him. Just can't dump him on a team that has cap space

Did you really just say Bickell can barely make the NHL? He's a top 6 winger on 12+ teams in the NHL, and was hampered by injury/illness for much of this season. He's not a world-beater, and he's painfully overpaid, but I'm more than confident he's movable, it just has to be worth giving up a pick or two to the right team. If not AZ, Florida, NJD, Buffalo, etc.

Why do do so many people have this preconceived notion that panarin will be on the top line? Switch teuvo and tikhonov and then panarin and teuvo. Panarin can play rw. And send morin down.

Not sure what to expect with Panarin. However, I do think Teravainen deserves a shot with Toews and Hossa. He would put up better numbers than Saad, I believe, on the first line. It sounds like Quenneville may play him at center, tho. If that is the case, the Hawks may have 3 scoring lines. Still would be nice to re-sign Kruger, although that requires a salary dump.

I live in Upper Michigan. The wingnuts here absolutely raved about Bickell following the 2013 second round. I'm not a big Bickell fan personally. I actually think he is best suited for the third line on the Hawks. He did cash in on his solid playoff performance, although he never seems to play that way during an entire regular season. If the Hawks indeed are stuck with him, it sure would be nice to see a healthy, motivated Bicks to put those like me to shame!

Always like LH-RH pairings on defense. However, this third pair could be brutal.

Finally someone agrees with me that Bickell isn't completely worthless in a trade. Smitty and Orionus are right. Yes Bickell had a bad season. Terrible actually. Yes he is overpaid for how he has been playing. However he is a second or good third line forward on 50% of the teams in the league.
Also, just to clarify, I am not a Bryan Bickell fan in the slightest bit. Hated the contract he got the day I learned about it.

You can make Bickell tradeable by retaining some of his salary and adding assets and maybe taking a bad contract back. It can't be to a cap floor team like Arizona. Bickell has a NTC, so he has a list of 8 teams he'd accept a trade to.

Sorry to upset the Bickell fans. I admit I don't see him much, but looking at his stats the past few years and seeing the 2015 playoffs, this is why I think he is not tradable. If he was so easy to trade, don't you think the Hawks would have done it by now? So many teams are close to the salary cap, after their RFAs are signed, there may not be many teams that can take on Bickell. And the ones that are not that close to the cap have self imposed salary limitations.

Follow my logic here....After the trading frenzy and free agent signings in early to mid July, signings have dried up. Mostly money issues. Montreal thought somehow Jeff Petry was worth 5.5 m for six years. Did anyone else? We'll never know. A similar player to Petry, Cody Franson still hasn't been signed and a bet he's worried. Thinking he might only get a 2 year contract for 3.75m a year.

Sorry to disagree but can't believe Bickell is a second liner or third liner on half the teams Even most 3rd liners do not make 4m a year, hence the problem. From the original Star Trek series....The trouble with bickells.
