It will be interesting to see what Bowman does, Keith has been a straight up beast for the Hawks, in my humble opinion you do everything you can to make this trade happen for Keith, for a guy that’s done so much for the franchise and city, you probably got to take one on the chin and really get nothing out of moving, but it goes along ways in the looker room that team will look after the vets that brought 3 cups to the city, yes it’s still a business but players need to know there’s still a human element to it, especially in the case of a player like Keith.

Killorn is a much better target to go after, playoff experience has size, 2 yrs left on his deal and probably has more skill then Tatar when it comes to board work and one on one battles

It's certainly a conversation the Hawks and Keith need to approach together vs one sided. If EDM came back with Neal or Neal+ more cap. The Stan needs to be honest with Keith and say...they don't really want you. They want to take advantage of your personal situation. I do believe everyone will see through that. That's just my opinion. IF that were to happen. I don't think Keith will want to go to EDM and would prefer to just hang them up. That can't feel good from his perspective to be used like that.

As far as the Jones rumors. I don't personally know how accurate they are, but I do very much like Jones and if Caled and help get Seth...I'm for it.

When it comes to the trade from Edmonton’s side it’s has to be all business it would not be a slight against Keith or that they don’t want him, the simple truth is Keith’s not worth just under the 5.5 he’s making, the cap hit as to be a manageable # for the oilers so it doesn’t hamper this yrs plans or become a hurdle in a Nurse extension
Holland likes veteran guys and sure he has a number in mind regarding Keith’s cap hit, it all depend on if Bowman can live with that number, there’s definitely a trade there it just depends if the two bosses can come to terms

Strome 50% retained add Benson real smart player point per game in the AHL more of a playmaker then a shooter but has above average board work and cycles the puck well

I think the Hawks would too. Neal's $11M vs Keiths $3.6M is too large a delta for them to do with a serious asset coming back. And Kassian has a 3rd year which is even worse.
