I really can't understand how GMJB let Tanev, the perfect partner for Hughes, go, while trading for a MORE EXPENSIVE (couter productive when you want to save cap), worse defender while also giving up a pick when the rebuild wasn't 100% done.

He doesn't need fixing, team defence deployment and defensive system need adjustment. The whole team F and D sucked defensively last year. Horrible system! Shaw will fix that. Hughes is fine

If Adam Larsson doesn't Re-up in Edmonton he'd be the pefrect partner with Quinn. Hamonic was good with Quinn, and Quinn played better with him
