He is a trash defender that is getting overplayed even tho he cannot transition has no positioning and awareness. Was arguably the mvp for tampa in that finals. Habs fan non stop always think he is the real deal just because he is tall and does hits when he is a literal detriment to the team. TBH as well many hockey gm overvalue the **** out of him except some gm like the avs, detroit, tampa and the canes who know he is ****.

You don't/ aren't getting dumba or soucy for bad contract, years on drouin, much less both of dumba and soucy

Big overpay for Edmunson, I'd give a 3rd or 4th for either at most and wouldn't part with any 2022 picks for them.

The wild would actually like a player like Drouin. He just had a breakout season and what the Wild is more foward and some offense. Which fits both of the checklist for Drouin. Add that Drouin would have less pressure playing in Minnesota due to the fact that he will not be the center of it all and will thrive in that position. He just ended up having the best season of his career atm. Chiarot is a player that a bunch of gm overvalue a lot and again the Habs are paying 50 percent of his salary to make it more fair to get him. While adding some draft pick to the it so that Minnesota could atleast get draft capital. Dumba is also another extremely overpaid player which the Habs are taking its bad contract the Wild have also tried to trade him for a while and his value has gone down. Soucy is a player that is undervalued and the same can be said about Hartman. The wild get a top 6 potentially a top 4 foward who just had the best season of his career, a bottom 2 defender who mtl are paying to give to them and two draft pick from the second and third round. Wild have arguably the best scount out there in bracket who drafted Petterson Demko Boeser Podkolzin and Nils. So those picks have value. Mtl are getting two top 4 defenders one of them having decent power play numbers and a bottom 6 foward.

GM overvalue players like edmunson and the jets do not have one of the best gm out there atm. Hence why i think they might pay him that. Add that edmunson value is high due to him having a breakout season and being in the finals which lead to GM overvaluing him a lot
