Bill Armstrong isn't taking on $18,000,000 combined for Myers, Schmidt and Eriksson. And then retaining $3,000,000 for 6 years on Oliver Ekman-Larsson no GM is that crazy. FWIW Hey Jim? Let me help you out of your cap hell, I'll take $17,950,000 from you. And while i'm at it i'll eat $3,000,000 on Oliver Ekman-Larsson for another 6 years. Sincerely yours Bill Armstrong.

Not a bad Leafs trade but they wouldn't move Sandin... Swap with Liljegren and maybe add something else

Definitely agree, we won't be be moving on from sandin anytime soon but value wise the OP isn't off by much I would say it would be a second rounder and not a first. But if it wasn't sandin it could be Amirov liljegren abramov and the first

I don't think the difference between Sandin and the rest of those players is a 1st vs 2nd. Sandin is much better than all of those players

As all Leafs fans have said Sandin seems off limits. Any chance that he is included if the 1st is downgraded/removed or is it still a hard no? It is not best case scenario but I could probably get behind Amirov, the 1st and Liljegren (perhaps with a little add) otherwise.

I seem to have been to generous with the OEL deal. Perhaps OEL (no retention) for Schmidt, Eriksson, Roussel and Vancouver's 2nd is more fair? Still quite the salary to take back but Eriksson and Roussel are only for 1 year and Vancouver eats the whole contract.

Welcome to CapFriendly!

I hope you become really involved, as there are only two other Arizona fans that I know of who regularly post, and people are always making trades with the Coyotes (especially for Garland, Kuemper and Dvorak).

I don't see sandin being moved at all simply because we don't know if Rielly will be back and what he is looking for on his next contract. Sandin will be his replacement whether we trade Rielly or let him walk in FA sandin is the future of our blue line.
