Get real Dougie Hamilton isn't taking less in Toronto then he was willing to sign in Carolina. And Hyman and Andersen laugh at those lowball offers. If you honestly think that the best top 4 in the league then you're dead wrong.

I think your UFA dollar valuations are very low. (As in, no chance that happens low).

I don't want Thornton anywhere near this team if it involves wearing a uniform.

Dougie yes, any GM giving Hyman more than 4 or Freddie more than 2 will regret it and be fired by next offseason

Hyman is worth 4. He will get almost 6 in a FA market. Only way Freddie is taking a paycut is on a 1 yr deal. He just needs to get fully healthy instead of having to play games when hurt because hutch would be your starter

Hyman top end is 4, I won't argue he'll get 6 in FA ( can't see it in the flat cap) but that is a stupid amount for Hyman, the whole narrative he'll get 6 is unfounded, RNH set the price and he is a better more valuable and versatile player than Hyman

Leafs have a history of players wanting to play there and signing team friendly contracts to do so. Just look at Tavares, Mathews, Marner and Nylander

I’d say Freddy probably gets a 1 yr prove it deal in the 3.5 range, as for Hyman if you keep the term to 4 yrs you’d be alright going more but some GM’s going to offer a longer term deal and agree you’ll probably regret giving him that term
