But then Toronto is better off waiting until the TDL. That's when a player in the final season of his contract is a good thing.

Detroit does not have to trade Bertuzzi.

Bertuzzi has not asked for a trade.

Detroit have not put Bertuzzi on the block.

This is you trying to trade for a player Detroit doesn't want to lose.

Since Yzerman became GM here he has not even once paid any assets for

any player over 24 years of age.

They thought they were getting a superstar, now they're pissed because he isn't.

Making sensible valuations aren't their strength, as evidenced by all their Bertuzzi trades...

Liljegren will become a very good defender as soon as he gets out of Toronto.
