Tierney is owed 4.2mil and Roussell is owed 1.8mil. Ottawa loves saving money.

All indications are Foegle will not be in Carolina next season. I don't think they price will be too high though I like the player a lot.

Canucks go with long term on Larsson to bring the AAV down.

34mil in cap space next offseason to make some big plays in free agency. Ideally a top 6 forward and 2 top 4 dmen.

more for foegele and he plays top 6 role and I like hamonic more than larson especially when we can upgrade our d next season rather than having him as a cap anchor

Your logic is correct concerning Tierney, but Ottawa can get as good as or better than, the pick you're offering, and without taking back a bad contract.
